Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Henry Bell (JD Wetherspoon)
Converted from a former shop, this elongated 'spoons is larger than you might expect from the relatively narrow frontage. Rather dark inside, especially by the bar, so the effort that went in to the semi-modern décor is wasted somewhat. The range on the two banks of five handpumps on this revisit was: Greene King IPA, Doom Bar, Stewart's 80/- and the Vienna dark lager from Harviestoun (with another line being cleaned).

As noted below, what looked like being a small Spoons from the outside turned out to be a reasonable sized one.
Inside it's a rectangular room with the bar on the left and extending into a slightly wider area further back. It was quite busy on my Wednesday evening visit.
The bar has ten hand pumps which had three available soon, Deuchars IPA, Abbot, Peerless Red Rocks, Loch Lomond Southern Summit & Ale Of Leven, Naylors Velvet and Arkell's Kingsdown. I went for the two Loch Lomomd ones (£2.09) which were excellent. I found this one to be a good Spoons.

A well-run Wetherspoons in an old furniture shop, which extends back quite some way. The various areas have a slightly different feel and seem to attract differnt clientele. Usual range of beers, food etc. Cask Marque listed at time of visit.
