Visited 28/01/25. Visited previously on 13/02/24.
As expected, no cask and a small keg offering of Beck's, Budweiser, Guinness, Magners and Goose Island Midway session IPA.
Counted previously but as I posted the name change on PG thought I should visit, photo and write a review. Technically the part that was open on my early evening visit was the Bar & Grill to the left of the reception desk just inside the front door. This is a bare boarded area apart from a tiled area around the bar counter which is against the wall to the left of the door. Some tan leather banquettes against the wall to the right of the door with small round table and cube shaped fabric stools the other side thereof. Elsewhere regular tables, some booths along the back wall and some long dark leather benches either side of a divider down the middle of the room. Some gentle music playing and a TV high in one corner showing BBC news, the lighting ambient. Leonardo's Bar is the other side of reception and was more formal, lately white with a classy bar counter against the back wall, mirrored back and stools at the bar. Same beers available as in the Bar & Grill. Tables were formally laid presumably for an event this coming evening.

Ime not sure if this is the same pub that i visited, but i did go in a pub called the Park Vaults, which was very close by on park lane.
The Park Vaults was a small pub that was situated just off one of Cardiff's main shopping streets.
Once inside there was a very basic oblong shaped room that was quite dark and dingy, there were no real ales on the bar,the keg bitter was the horrible Boddingtons smooth crap, which was crap.
This was a very sad pub,my only reason for doing this pub was for a quick toilet stop, this was the only non Brains pub on my Cardiff crawl,it was by far the worst pub of the day.
I am pretty sure that this pub has now closed down during the redevelopment of this area of Cardiff.
