No need to join in the "is this a pub" debate. I will let you form your own opinion. You can get a beer - in a bottle! Not the worst place to kill 10 minutes waiting for your train. The bottle of expensive IPA I had was just as you would expect it to be. I must have walked past over a hundred times and I will continue to do so. I won't be making a habit of drinking here.

This ia purely a cafe serving the station. Its is licenced but they only sell bottles, including wine by the glass.

Soup Dragon beat me to it (although I don't know who Odin is). I sat in here last Saturday and I thought that this is a fine setting in which to have afternoon tea and to sit and watch the world go by. There are 3 tables inside and a further 6 outside (under cover) where you can see the trains and people come and go. It sells sandwiches, jacket potatoes, cakes, cookies, tea and coffee. It also offers a choice of 3 bottled beers, 2 ciders, 1 perry, wines and spirits. Moor Street would be a great location for a station tap but, by anyone's definition, this ain't a pub.
