The New Derby Arms was a stand alone pub that was situated on the busy rochdale road in the harpurhey area of Manchester.
The pub had recently reopened when i went in it,there were a couple of rooms inside and i had a drink in the bar which was a decent enough room.
The pub was operating as a free house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Banks's bitter and this was a fairly decent drink the other beer was John Smiths bitter on handpump.
This pub is still standing and untill recently was in use as a general store with a post office inside.
