Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Pomeroys
Much more of a restaurant than a bar, although it does have a compact counter and general seating area at one end. Modern furniture and decor throughout, but the unusually high ceiling doesn't really help the atmosphere (although there were a fair number in on a Wednesday evening). On the beer front, it initially appears to be keg only, but there is a single handpump set back behind the shiny founts, unexpectedly offering Riders on the Storm from Kelham Island (£4.20).

More of a bistro than a bar but nice enough inside. I couldn't see any ale so I went for a Hop House lager. It wasn't the best and quite expensive at £5.20. A nice enough place but not for me I'm afraid.

Pomeroys is a modern bar that is in what looks like and old maybe ex industrial building.
Once inside there is a large oblong shaped room there is a small bar to the left, the seating is a mix of normal tables and chairs and leather settees, the ceiling is very high, the floor bare boarded.
When i approached the bar i thought is was keg only bar, but there was a single pump which was at a lower lever than the bar top, this had Wadworth 6X on which was a decent drink but very pricey at £2 for a half.
Background music was playing and food was available but this was not too much to put off normal drinkers.
This is a decent enough bar that is quite smart and had a laid back atmosphere.
