Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Falcon
Basic town pub with a plain 'U'-shaped bar and a small pool room at one end. Normally has Hooky from a solitary handpump, but unfortunately that was off when I stopped over. Not feeling like a John Smith's or a Guinness, I opted for the Peroni (although I later spotted bottles of Sharp's Wolf Rock in the fridge). Also operates as a small hotel, and the bedrooms are rather smarter than one might expect.

The Falcon is a large looking corner pub.
Once inside there was a fairly large single room that was U shaped,the main bar area was bare boarded with normal tables and chairs,there was a small area to the rear left which had tall tables and stools.
There were two pumps on the bar with one unclipped,i had a drink of Sharps Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink.
The pub was fairly quiet on our Saturday afternoon visit but i think it would fill up with younger drinkers in the evening.
