Large and prominent pub on quayside, with heavy food trade but also with a good selection of ales. Plenty of seating, including some cosy corners and a few tables outside on the pavement. It has the general feel of a busy and well-run pub.

Fine old pub with accomadation on the quey side.
On my visit beers from Adnams, Bideford, Exmoor, Sharps, Shep Neame & Wychwood.
Many old prints of the town adorn the walls and in the brew house room lots of brewing and pub artifacts.

Single bar pub with a seperate dining/drinking area at the side and a very small snug. 5 real ales on tap with one from a local brewery. pavement seating area.
