Not a proper pub but a long bar servicing a long, thin fantasy gaming area. It’s dark, dank and dull, their main customer base being basement dwellers and people whose teenage years are long behind them but they haven’t realised. The staff were inert and indolent, clearly nto willing to serve those of us who don’t fit their target demographic. No bar stools, so drinks have to be taken to the gaming areas, or just consumed standing. There is no cask ale or real cider on sale and nothing by way of a wine list. On the bar counter are three arrays of taps dispensing Camden Hells and Pale, Kopperberg, Guinness, Staropramen. It’s unlikely that I shall revisit.
