Steve of N21 left this review about Lighthouse Bar
A brick built structure at the end of the Margate harbour arm which was surprisingly cosy inside with comfortable leather settee seating and a large wood burner for the winter months. But probably best visited in summer when you can utilise the outside seating which catches the sun on a fine day and affords good views back across the harbour and of the nearby Mrs Booth shell lady statue.
There were plenty doing just that with their pints of fizzy amber coloured beverages when I strolled into this one. And for draft unfortunately Guinness , Hoffmeister and other standard lagers are the only tap offerings. Fortunately there were some more interesting cans and bottles in the fridges, but I didn’t linger long here, especially with the Harbour Arms micropub a few doors along as my next port of call.
