Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Real Ale Corner
Micro-pub and bottle shop with limited seating at a few tall and standard-height tables in front of the compact counter in a smaller opened-out room beyond. Milestone Cathedral Gold, Kramos from Triple Point and Sligo from Welbeck Abbey available from the three handpumps.

I've called in on previous visits to this end of the Brampton Mile, but this time I was assessing how many Camra pub researchers could fit in if they all arrived at the same time. There are seats for 14 to 16, I reckon. Beer options include three cask beers, four kegs and numerous cans and bottles (50p extra to drink in). Last time I was here the beer was in tremendous condition and it wasn't much different this time, with my half of Neepsend Brulotte not really to my taste but still very good (NBSS 3.5). One to include on a Brampton Mile cruise, unless you're drinking lager, though a group of Cruzcampo drinkers I'd seen earlier seemed to like it here. But if you have more than 15 friends, don't bring them all with you.

A small and compact bottle shop, stocking 150 different bottled beers sourced locally and nationally. Three handpumps, with two in use, so we went for the Intrepid Brewery Blonde, on handpump. Also tried on our visit, a couple of glasses of Ashover cider from the fridge, which I indulged in, whilst Mrs A went for a bottle of Peak Ales Summer Solstice. I was soon wobbling slightly, walking back into Chesterfield.
