The Royal Oak was a very large roadside pub in an area that was short on pubs.
The pub looked quite smart from the outside and had two different entrances,once inside there were a few different rooms and i had a drink in a lounge that was fairly smart and comfortable.
The pub was a Wilsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Websters Yorkshire bitter.
Sadly this pub has been pulled down and a crappy Mcdonalds built on its site,what a waste.
