Now called Ridley's On The River. Not much has changed since Rays review and the bar had 2 handpulls but only 1 was on (Hobson's) during my visit.

Authentic Pie and Mash shop with a bar. There were two ales on handpump on our visit, so we went for the Hobson's Low Town Crier, which was superb and an Enville. The interior is small and modern, with original exposed beams, leather settees near the front and some bench seating under the stairs. The bar area over to the left was well designed with a mosaic tiled front and teak counter. There was also a small room upstairs with a nice view of the river. One not to be missed if you're heading up to the Black Boy.
