The Swan was a really nice old pub that had views over the Cumbrian countryside.
Once inside the pub had an old feel to it with beamed ceilings and cottage type seating,there was also a seperate pool room.
This pub was a Hartleys tied house and there were two real ales on the bar both Hartleys mild and XB were very nice drinks.
We had a good Sunday dinner drink in here and enjoyed it as we were in a nice pub in a nice location.
Sadly this pub has closed down and been converted into a private cottage.
Little Urswick is now a dry village.
