The Railway Hotel as its name suggests was the closet pub to Ulverston train station.
This was a stand alone stone built pub,once inside the pub was fairly comfortable, we had a drink in the lounge which was fairly quiet on our visit.
This pub was a Whitbread tied house and there was one real ale on the bar which was Hartleys XB and this was quite a nice drink.
This pub is still standing and it is now a lighting shop.
