The Canal Tavern was on the eastern edge of Ulverston and was close to the canal head.
Once inside there were a few different rooms and we had a drink in the lounge which was fairly comfortable.
This pub was a Hartleys tied house and there were three real ales on the bar we had a drink of Hartleys bitter and this was a really nice drink the other beers were Hartleys mild and XB.
It was well worth the walk to get to this Hartleys tied house.
I think this pub has now been pulled down.
