One of three or four pubs on the small square at the heart of what must once have been a bustling little town. The cosy bar parlour is dominated by the magnificent fireplace to the left of the bar, which has two hand pumps dispensing beers from Felin Foel brewery: Double Dragon and Celtic Pride. It was very quiet on my lunchtime visit, and it's hard to imagine any of the pubs in this sleepy little town getting busy nowadays, but it was quite pleasant here and if I were staying in the vicinity I would certainly be back.
