Alan Winfield left this review about Sir Garnet Wolseley
The Sir Garnet Wolseley was a large estate pub that was hidden away in the radford flats complex.
Once inside there was a large bar and a more comfortable lounge,i have always had a drink in the bar and this was a decent enough room.
This pub used to be a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on here both Shipstones bitter and mild were very nice drinks.
Whenever we have been in here we have enjoyed our stay and drinks.
I dont know if this pub is open or closed at the moment.
