Will Larter left this review about Adelphi Hotel
The birthplace of Yorkshire County Cricket Club and of both Sheffield Wednesday FC (1867) and Sheffield United FC (1889), the Adelphi was demolished in 1969. This part of the city centre was completely redeveloped and that section of the street no longer exists.
