Strongers . left this review about Wee Jimmies
Wee Jimmies has a J-shaped front bar with a central L-shaped wooden serving counter that is traced by a tile floor that borders a tartan carpet that runs up to red banquettes that found around the exterior walls up the left and right, and either side of the central front entrance. The décor is traditional with some wood panelling and there’s lots of framed photos and drawings on the walls. A dartboard sits in the front left corner, but a couple of small tables would have to be moved out of the way to use it. There was some background music playing and Sky News was on the television also with sound, which was a bit annoying. In the rear is a larger open plan bar with the same décor and a small serving counter in the left rear corner that supports the same standard and premium keg as the main front bar. I found the service to be polite and even though there was only one other customer during my recent Wednesday early afternoon visit I could feel that this pub has a good atmosphere at busier times. I rated this place head and shoulders above the other pubs I visited in the area.
