CLOSED Otley pub that was built in 1865 on the site of an earlier pub,(part of which still remains)and at one stage had stabling for around 60/80 horses.It was originally called The White Horse Hotel,and was prefixed by Royal to celebrate The Duke of Connaught's stay here when he was on manoevers in the area.The pub closed in 1973 and is now occupied by Barclays Bank.
