The Mystery was a really nice looking pub that was surrounded by tall tower blocks.
The pub was wedged shaped and still had its original tiling outside, the upper half was in mock tudor and there was a tall ornate tower above the front door.
The pub still had its old Brickwood signage outside which i think added to the looks of this pub.
Once inside there were two rooms we had a drink in the room at the front which was the lounge, this room was fairly smart and comfortable there was a larger bar to the rear of the pub.
This pub was a Whitbread tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Whitbread Flowers bitter and this was a decent drink, there was a decent friendly atmosphere in this pub.
I have since found out that this pub has now been demolished which i think is criminal doing it to an old ornate looking pub like this.
Whoever decided to do this should hang there heads in shame.
