Will Larter left this review about Padarn Hotel
This large and complex hotel consists of several buildings linked together, with a sports bar to the left, a bistro to the right, and a large central bar which I could imagine would be heaving in high season. There were two hand pumps in the sports bar, with Sharps Doom Bar and Brains Padarn Gold (Rev James Gold rebadged). With two bland beers to choose from I went for the Brains, and somehow neglected to make a note about how well it went down. It's perhaps unfair to judge a large pub in a tourist resort on its atmosphere off season, but to be honest it's not my type of pub anyway.
