More cafe than bar but no problems with having drinks only, the 3 pulls are in the lower section, beers from Wold Top, Hambleton and Acorn, there’s a sign on the top counter saying "t’other side" if you stray into the split level top part which only has a T-Bar. Mix of old wooden furniture through out, friendly staff and customers. GBG2020 listed.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The New Malton

Food-orientated pub overlooking the Market Place, partly opened out with two parts to the bar counter and several additional seating areas. Refurbished in an attractive semi-modern style. Three handpumps in the lower part of the bar, with local ales including Acorn Yorkshire Pride and Partner's Working Class Hero (£1.60 half).
