The Oast House has a central semi-covered outside paved area with high tables, picnic tables and a flame pit. At the rear is an outside kitchen and to the left is a wooden structure that was closed for a private function during a recent early Tuesday evening visit. The main bar is found in the ‘oast house’ to the right. The wooden open plan interior houses a bar counter on the rear wall to the left. This supports premium keg. Wooden benches are found to the right, most of which were being used by an afterwork crowd. A piano sits by the entrance, I didn’t see any live music adverts, but would be surprised if this venue doesn’t hold live events. The service was polite, but the background music was too loud for the time of day, people were in to chat not dance so the din of them shouting to be heard wasn’t great. This isn’t somewhere I’ll be rushing back to.

Another agreement with ROB. Jaipur now £4.40 a pint. Other bars of more interest in Manchester.

Dear me! Fake on every level. Wooden interior, wooden bar staff, wooden everything. It has 4 real ales but nobody has a clue how to pour any of them without making a mess. Also its like a friggin oven inside. Had a load of wigwams being built outside. Pretentious and very dull. I liked it.
