This is a recent pub built close to the A68 just outside Bishop Auckland. It is a Marston's pub and the beer range reflects this. Pedigree, Hobgoblin, and Banks Bitter were the beers available plus another pumpclip was turned round. It is a gastro pub and very popular due to being in an industrial park. The food was superb. The menu choice took us ages to decide what to have and that was on top of a massive specials board, all on the 2 for the price of 1 offer. The deserts went down well too. We had the Hobgoblin and the only thing wrong with that was the temperature. It was freeeeezing!!Good service from friendly staff. Should do well.
