Nothing much to say about a Beefeater - it does what it says on the tin! Only Pedigree on offer. Not really worth it if you aren't eating here.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Beefeater The Plough
Large pub / restaurant with the bar in the original part of the building, extended at some stage with a single-storey seating area at one end with a further (much larger) recent extension to the other side and rear housing the various dining areas. Usual semi-modern chain decor throughout, but the interior is unusually uncrammed in terms of furniture. Also has a modest patio beer garden at the bar end. Just Pedigree (£3.40) available from one of two handpumps (with a reversed Doom Bar clip on the other), but it does at least offer real ale.

This is a large detached Beefeater chain restaurant, with a bar and a Premier Inn behind. There is a large patio area. The building has a elongated cottage-styled house at the front, which is the bar/pub area and in yellow with peach coloured shutters. This is somewhat older than the separate restaurant building tucked at the back. The two are connected by a passage where the main entrance is.
The interior has two areas. To the left on entry is the two-levelled restaurant with bookcase, a few old photos and somewhat more bistro art, vases and lampshades. It has the mix of wall colours; greay, brown, cream, yellow, green, plum and wood panel, with a brown carpet and white ceiling. The corridor between it and the bar area is a waiting area with sofas, pouffes, comfy chairs and cushions. The bar area was to the right, which i didn't see much of. The service was really good, the clientele consisted of lots of families - it was really busy. There was a TV or two.
Beer; usual tap stuff with an OK Hobgoblin and Pedigree (ran out) on handpull.
The usual Solihull type of generic eaty place really. The service was good, the food and beer OK.
