A pleasant, one room bar with a stone-flagged floor, good quality wood panelling and a bar to match, though it's not, seemingly, originally a pub. Just two hand pumps on the bar, with only Sharps Atlantic on - not normally a beer I take any pleasure in drinking, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it in very good condition and a reasonably enjoyable drink.

A neat little one roomer with wood panelled walls. Most of the seating, which is all around the walls, appears to be old church pew seating. There's not much room for anything else in here. The small bar is filled with assorted pumps including 2 handpumps which were serving Doombar and the rather better Saltaire Blonde, which was in very good nick. There was a good atmosphere in here with the clientele being mainly locals. It a good bar and a decent addition to the Hull pub scene.
