Alan Winfield left this review about Kith & Kin

Kith & Kin has now had a roof added to the outside seating area so you can nod have a drink or meal outside even when it is raining.
Once inside there is a decent sized oblong shaped room which has a bar to the rear, the room is bare boarded, the seating is tall tables and chairs and tall bench seating to the left, the front right area is down one step, the seating here is bench type and normal tables and chairs, there was a TV to the left which was showing BBC news.
There was one real ale on which was Sharps Atlantic, this was a decent enough drink.
The pub was packed with family diners on my Saturday dinner visit.
The background music was crap.
Not really my sort of place, but at least it did one real ale which is a bonus.

Old Boots left this review about Zed

Modern bar conversion of typical shop unit, has long laminate floor with a raised area of white leather trimed booth like seating on the left very popular with 30something ladies on my Saturday afternoon visit. Other seating is tables, chairs, upholstered benches and more boothy bits with a lot of leather in evidence. The walls are finished in dyed planks material and paint. There's a single handpump but sadly not in use today - I'm told it usually has an interesting beer on in good nick. Otherwise a mix of national brands and a couple of rarities I plumped for a Dortmunder Union Pilsner which was excellent. I was served by a dodgy barman who calls customers things like friend or boss, better than mate, chief or squire I suppose.
