The Prince Albert is a local’s backstreet boozer that is just off the main drag and just over five minutes walk from the town centre. This is a Shepherd Neame pub so the usual SN draught is available, but the three hand pumps were all unused during my visit late last night (Saturday). There are regular live music and karaoke nights and the pool table is free every Wednesday. There is also a dartboard at the rear of this U shaped pub and the jukebox was playing in the background. Children are permitted until 18:00 and there is a late license every night.

The service was friendly, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink here again.
