The Llyn y Mawn was an excellent old pub serving a choice of real ales and fine meals. It was at its peak in the early 2000's when the then landlord used to look forward to his "Opening Times" beer magazine being hand delivered each month from Manchester by a keen real ale "ticker" whilst visiting the nearby pet cemetery. The pub sadly closed in September 2010
