E TA left this review about Cafe Rouge
A standard chain cafe bar with a peculiar mix of continental and quintessentially English features. Bare floorboards, a selection of coffees and snacks, and unusually a daily delivery of freshly baked cakes from a small local supplier - an essential accompaniment to one's post prandial Earl Grey. No real ale, the best beer on offer is Hoegaarden. It's a bit of a cliche, somewhere to rest while She shops in Gunwharf Quays, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, but it's not really a pub in the traditional sense, so I wouldn't want to spend an evening here.
