Newly-opened basement bar, run by Poles for Poles. Not obvious from the road and seems to be one for those 'in the know'. When I visited after 9pm the lights at the top of the stairwell were off, which didn't fill me with confidence. After a slightly death-defying trip down them it opens up into a fairly large basement room that has been freshly decorated, though a lot of the furnishings are cheap and cheerful. Some Polish lagers and spirits at the bar, average prices. They are trying to push the food element, so might give it a go for that. TV at the near end, tuned into some Polish programme. Not necessarily a place that's going to see too much of my business but I may well pop back again at some point.
