From the outside, this looks like an old style West of Scotland “man’s pub,” but the clientele was mixed. The sign above the door says “Bar,” but the entrance door says “Lounge Bar,” and, also “No Football Colours.” Inside is a commodious square shaped bar, rather boring looking, but reasonably pleasant. There is a paved beer garden at the back, with a large smoking shelter. Fairly bland and ordinary, but there are worse places in town.
