The Smiths Arms was a stand alone pub that was in the back streets just off oldham road.
Once inside there were a couple of rooms and both of these looked decent enough,i had a drink in the bar and this was a fairly comfortable room.
The pub was a Burtonwood tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Burtonwood bitter and this was a decent drink.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a few drinks in.
Sadly this pub has now closed down but it is still standing and the area around it is now being redeveloped.
