This Pub was a very busy little pub in the 80s holding lots of parties for the local kids, always had a friendly atmosphere, It was run by the Milligan family for quite a few years, the son Michael Milligan went on to play and Captain Oldham football team in the Premire league.

The Old House at Home was a small stand alone pub that had no other buildings nearby, the pub was close to a railway bridge and was easily seen when travelling on a train into Victoria station.
The pub used to be a Wilsons tied house but by the time i got round to visiting the pub it was being run under the Belhaven banner.
Once inside the pub was very basic and i had a drink in the bar which had seen better days, there was one real ale on the bar this was Tetley bitter and this was a decent drink.
Sadly this pub has now closed down but it is still standing and it is now a car rental place.
Another east Manchester gone but not forgotton.
