The Clayton Arms was a modern looking pub that was probably built in the early 80s.
Once inside there was a largish bar which had a pool table in it and this was a decent room, there was also a comfortable lounge which looked quite smart.
This pub was a Burtonwood tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Burtonwood bitter and this was a very nice drink.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.
Sadly this pub has been pulled down and there is a new building on its site.
Yet another east Manchester pub to bite the dust.
