I called in on a Wednesday lunchtime - not always easy to find a pub open. Very pleasant lady at the bar. A few people (mainly locals, I guess) in for a pint, a couple of groups in the restaurant, and some brave souls in the beer garden. Jukebox was playing Oasis, which set the scene: bog-standard Valleys songbook for the most part. TV showing sport, so immediate 2-point deduction. Clean and bright throughout, but the nautical theme (and name( seem odd ten miles inland. Doom Bar on pull; standard Molson Coors fare otherwise. Menu looked good but I'd eaten my packed lunch. Toilet clean and tidy.
