The White Lion is on Newton Heaths main shopping street and it is almost opposite the New Crown.
When i visited this pub it looked like it had been done up from the outside,once inside there was one room that i noticed and this was quite a nice room that was carpeted and had comfortable bench seating.
There were three real ales on the bar and i had a drink of Worthington bitter which was on handpump this was a decent enough drink the other beers were Chesters mild and Boddingtons bitter.
