Strongers . left this review about Brass Monkey
Brass Monkey is a single room bar with a stool lined L-shaped serving counter at a jaunty angle on the rear wall. Premium keg was available from the friendly barmaid alongside Tennents. Banquettes run along the front window and up the right-hand wall that is covered in monkey patterned wallpaper. Banquette booths run across the front left windows and up the left-hand wall. Both televisions were off during my recent Tuesday early afternoon visit, but TNT Sport is advertised and there was some background music playing. I imagine it’s more interesting in here when there’s more than one customer, but I’ll probably walk past next time I’m in the area.
