The Manchester Regiment was a 70s built estate type pub that was in an industrial area just off the chester road.
This was quite a big pub and once inside the pub was very smart and also quite comfortable,there were two rooms that i noticed but the bar was closed so i had a drink in the lounge.
This pub was a Greenalls tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Greenalls bitter and this was ok but nothing special the other beer was Greenalls mild.
I thought this was a decent pub but it was very quiet on my Saturday dinner visit.
Sadly this is yet another Manchester pub to be pulled down,there is now nothing on its site.
