Quite busy in here with plenty of people watching the football. No real ale but I spotted a couple of craft taps on the bar so I went for Intuition from Attic brewery.
I would imagine this place gets pretty lively in the evening! An improvement on the old Pony Club for me.

Not quite clear what this place is aiming to be, but seems to be on the same chain as the Sindercombe Social on Shepherds Bush Green and 60 Million Postcards in Bournemouth. The large 'L'-shaped bar / dining area has the look of an American diner, but the (loud) music was (mostly) rather more modern. Further seating is available out on the pavement and in the rear patio beer garden. Four of five handpumps in operation, offering Doom Bar, Marston's 61 Deep and two ciders, but I went for one of the Sierra Nevada 'craft beer festival' offerings, namely the Hop Hunter IPA (very tasty, but at something approaching three quid for a half...).

A largish open plan pub. The single room is all bare brick and wooden floored. There is no Irish influence anymore though I'm not sure what they're aiming at. There are 4 handpumps on the bar with Purity Ubu, Bombardier and another bland beer, which I've forgotten. Not as bad as the useless Cocks over the road but not great either.
