This huge old pub still stands but was converted into flats soon after it lost the trade of Manchester City home matches at Maine Road. The stone Parkside signs at the top of the building were retained, leaving the building with a similar view to it's pub days.

The Parkside is a large pub that is on the corner of lloyd street and parkside road, this used to be the closest pub to Manchester citys old maine road ground.
Once inside there were a few different rooms i had a drink in the lounge which was quite smart and comfortable.
When i visited this pub it was a Whitbread tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Whitbread Trophey bitter and this was not too bad a drink.
I think this pub is still open.
