Fairly standard shop conversion Spoons with the usual range of customers. Popped in for a quick lunch which was fine.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The William Withering (JD Wetherspoon)
A much-larger-than-it-initially-looks 'spoons, with old-style dark furniture and decor but quite well lit so not as gloomy inside as one might expect. The selection from the two banks of five handpumps was split between the usual suspects and beer festival offerings, but my pint of Fire Island Buffalo (£1.99) was in good shape and went nicely as part of the Curry Night deal.

A pretty functional-looking building (a converted 60’s build shop by the looks of it) but the interior is decent enough, done out in dark varnish wood, red paint and some art on the walls along with a modern-looking tiled bar area. Two banks of five pumps. Went for an Adnams collaboration brew which was dire, my second choice of Salopian Gold was better. Fairly middling for a Spoons, if the Adnams wasn’t so awful I might have been inclined to be more generous. (visited June)
