A former club still with the look and feel of one and with that kind of furnishing. CAMRA says its still a club but I had no problem with entry and getting served.
A pleasant enough place but obviously all keg beers, I ordered a fake Latin lager before I saw the Murphy’s stout on the second T-Bar, the others were a motley collection of low end lagers, cider and John Smiths as well as a vertical trio of Thatcher's cidery drinks. Pool table in the main bar, there’s a function room behind, as I don’t function well I didn’t look in. Screens, machine and piped music, minimal decor as befits its club origins.
