Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Chequers
Typical suburban Hungry Horse establishment, but large enough to have a Wacky Warehouse section as well as various seating and dining areas on each side and in front of the central bar area. As expected, though, the semi-modern refurbishment has a dull corporate look. I stopped here for a quick meal, but at least it does still do cask beer, albeit Abbot (£4.65) with the bespoke Greene King IPA handpumps on either side not in use.
