For the most part this is a typical posh hotel bar, devoid of atmosphere and only of use to those who are staying or have other business here. However on a warm sunny afternoon it's well worth a visit to enjoy a beer or three or a G&T sundowner on their splendid terrace with lovely views over the river and of the constant activity of the pleasure boats and the to-ing and fro-ing of the little ferry. Very expensive, of course and no real ale, but friendly waitress service and unusualy for such places no pressure to order food.
