Alan Winfield left this review about The Pikefold
The Pikefold was a early 70s built pub that looked pretty ordinary from the outside, the pub was just off chapel lane at the bottom end of plant hill road.
Once inside there were a couple of largish rooms i went in a smartish lounge which was comfortable enough, this pub used to be a Bass tied house and there were no real ales on here i had a drink of keg Bass Special and this was a pretty poor drink.
I think this pub is still standing but it is now used as a nursery.
Yet another Manchester pub to bite the dust.
