A fairly typical Scottish rural pub, with wood panelling half way up the walls of the roughly L-shaped single room, with the bar in the corner and the pool and darts in the short arm of the L. There were the usual Scottish fonts, and also Belhaven Ember 80/- on what I took to be top pressure, though I didn't check this out as I had spotted Orkney Dark Island in bottle on the shelf behind the bar.

Meals are available, and the smell of cooking fat does tend to linger. The main selling point, and the reason I was here at all, is the adjacent camping and caravan site, which makes this a great place for a stop over but possibly not one for an extended visit.
