Revisited and open so top marks to Tris for identifying that! Definitely a place from the past - no real ale and no hand pumps suggesting I missed out on my visit today - but had a cracking pint of Guinness! A place that we would all be a bit poorer in terms of choice if it doesn’t survive, not the best place by any stretch of the imagination (or fact), but there are worse places and top marks to those responsible for this place for finding a market and keeping it going. Would be a 5 for what it actually offers but uplifted by a couple of points for surviving and giving us a reminder of this sort of venue in a former glory. Many have failed the persistence test sadly.
