This is a bar doubling up as an Indian restaurant, and as you might expect all the staff were of South Asian ethnic origin. But there is plenty of room for those just wanting a drink. There’s no real ale, but they do have Cobra on tap. I saw a sign on the outside window, next to the one banning hoody wearers, advertising the private members’ club but I guess this must be upstairs or tucked away somewhere else, as I got served with no questions asked. The furnishings are cheap looking and bland, there’s no decor worth mentioning. I don’t think this one is really worth bothering with unless you fancy a curry.
